This unit aims to provide the students with an understanding of the theory of project management, including project inception and planning, scheduling, risk management, budgeting, management of stakeholders and project teams, constructability, value management, quality management, and management of conflicts and variations in project processes.

Apeesada (Mins) Sompolgrunk is a PhD candidate at the University of Canberra, specialising in optimising Building Information Modelling (BIM) for construction management in small to medium-sized construction firms. Beyond his scholarly pursuits, he has delivered hands-on guidance in building information modelling and management principles and the adept utilisation of premier software platforms from industry leaders including Autodesk and Bentley Systems.
